Flossing should be done at least once a day. Take 18 inches of floss and wind it around your middle fingers until you have about 2 inches of floss between them. Move the floss back and forth to work it between your teeth. Curve it around each tooth and move the floss up and down to remove debris. Do this for each space, using a new section of floss for each one. Do not forget to floss behind your very back teeth, too.

You can complete your dental hygiene routine with an antibacterial mouthwash — this aids in killing any lingering bacteria as well as removing any loose debris from between your teeth. Additionally, it also helps to provide you with fresh breath.
