After treating patients in various cities throughout Ohio, many of which were same day emergencies, I really enjoy the warmth of a family practice where I am able to build and maintain relationships with my patients and their families.
One of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry for me has been the impact that we can make in our patient's quality of life, as well as their self-confidence in their own smile.
There is nothing better than having a patient who on their first visit doesn't even want to show the dentist their smile, and after taking the necessary steps together, is beaming from ear to ear smiling at anybody they meet.
Education and Continuing Education
I completed my undergraduate degree at Indiana Wesleyan University, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2014. While I was there, I was able to contribute to a research project on neuromuscular junctions/synapses, which has since been published. I then moved back to Columbus, and received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2018 from The Ohio State University.
There is a life time of learning in the field of dentistry, always more that I can offer my patients to ensure that I am continuing to deliver a superior level of care. Continuing education and professional study clubs like the Central Ohio Dental Forum have allowed me to further hone my knowledge and experience of the dentistry I provide. In addition, I am a Dawson Academy trained practitioner, having completed my residency in 2020. There is a lifetime of learning in the field of dentistry, always more that I can offer my patients to ensure that I am continuing to deliver a superior level of care.
Family and Community
I was born and raised in Columbus, and absolutely love this city. I have two wonderful parents, Nick and Nancy, and an amazing sister Alize’.
Over the years, I have been able to go on several dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and would like to continue to participate in providing dental care abroad. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, exercising, and reading.
